Jim Thorpe Seattle Kraken Giveaway
2021 & 2022

Memorial Day weekend festivities may be winding down, but the girls on Seattle Youth Recreation Foundation’s (SYRF) basketball team have reason to celebrate. Over the weekend Jim Thorpe, owner of Summit Capital Partners gifted SYRF his company's private suite for a Seattle Storm Game. The girls attended the game on May 29th at Climate Pledge Arena and watched the Storm take on the New York Liberty.

JIM THORPE DONATES OVER 50 KRAKEN TICKETS

To ensure the entire team had a rewarding experience, Thorpe invited the girls who were unable to attend Sunday’s event to an upcoming game on June 29. His goal is to provide the team with an inspiring experience that motivates them to continue building a strong foundation. This sponsorship is part of Thorpe's commitment to highlighting local charities that positively impact the community. He looks forward to future collaborations with SYRF and hopes others will follow suit, giving back in their own way!

“The girls were beyond excited to attend a Seattle Storm game in a private suite. His generous donation is greatly appreciated and will knot be forgotten by the team and staff at Seattle Youth Recreation Foundation”. Alfred Love Jr - Director and Founder of SYRF
